Today I re-viewed the Craig Mundie keynote from the RSA 2008 conference. Many things were said that I liked: Recently, a few weeks ago, we announced that we had acquired Credentica, and their U-Prove technology, which we think is going to be an example of a way to realize this requirement where we can tease apart some of the individual claims around identity or elements of identity and present them individually, and therefore be able to prove certain pieces of information without disclosing too much.

Well, I really really enjoyed going to RSA. As I foresaw, more than the event itself I really appreciated the chance of meeting with very smart people: the Concordia and the OSIS events were truly exceptional in this sense. Axel captured some of that spirit here . Just to mention a few notable encounters: I spent some quality time with Pat Patterson , mainly discussing the book. I really really appreciated his honesty and his feedback, he truly read the book with attention and his remarks were always

This year I am finally managing to attend RSA . At last, I'll be able to put a face on the URIs of the various feed I follow (more or less Mike 's blogroll) and exchange ideas in realtime meatspace. Looking forward! I almost hope that the sheer length of the last Tao of Authentication installment scared ppl away, or I'll have to do some arguing ;-) See you there! Something tells me you won't have problems spotting me...
